Agni is one of the Solar deities in the Vedas; in fact, he is the first deity mentioned in the Rig-Veda. The Rig Veda starts with a Hymn dedicated to Agni. He is the ethereal aspect of the sun—the non-physical, divine quality of the Sun. He is the masculine principle of the soul. He was the first spark of light when our soul was created, and he is the fire and passion within it. Bahar recreates these deities with a modern-futuristic perspective; it is the simplest method for today's people to connect with, understand, and employ these energies in their daily lives.
