“ Womb Wisdom Oracle 1” is another painting in Bahar’s series of attempts to rectify the blatant omission of the sacred feminine from the socio-religious texts of certain patriarchal systems. She addresses the rise of the sacred feminine in the dark, old, traditional, religious society of Iran. The "old" is represented in her artwork by Persian miniatures of mosques, ayatollahs, bazars, male prophets, and legends, while the "sacred feminine" is represented by modern "realistic painting of photographic portraits of women."
